Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons Organic Yellow Mustard Seeds
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Pinch of salt
- Carrot sticks
- Cucumber rounds
- Celery sticks
- Chicken strips or pretzels
To Serve
Directions
- Toast Organic Yellow Mustard Seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat 1–2 minutes until popping and fragrant
- let cool 2 minutes
- Grind toasted seeds to a coarse powder using a spice grinder or mortar and pestle
- Combine ground seeds, mayonnaise, honey, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and salt in a bowl
- whisk until smooth
- Taste and adjust — more honey for sweetness, more vinegar for tang
- Refrigerate at least 15 minutes before serving
- Pack in small airtight containers with veggie sticks, chicken strips, or pretzels
Recipe Note
Let the dip rest in the fridge for at least 15 minutes before serving — the flavors come together and mellow beautifully as it chills.
