How do I create an account?

If you have never shopped on www.spicyorganic.com, click on login button and then click on register to create an account from any desktop or mobile device. Once you create an account, you have the ability to check your order status, place items in wish list, and cancel order and more.

How do I check the status of a return?

You can check the status of your order and return either by calling our toll-free number 214-256-5804 or login to your account by selecting the “login” from the top of any page. Simply enter your email address and password to login to your account to check the order status or returns.

How do I update my name, address and/or email address on my spicyorganic.com account?

Once you logged in to your account, you will have the ability to update your name, address and your email address. Simply login to your account and click on “Address Book” to update your name and address and click on “Account Information” to update email address.

How do I return an item?

At Spicy Organic, we made the returns so easy. All you need to do is to apply the label that came with your packing slip to the outside of the package, covering the original label.  Take your parcel to nearest post office or UPS locations. Based on designated return method (UPS or USPS) you can leave the package either in your mailbox or hand it to your mail carrier or drop it off at your local post office or UPS location.

When should I expect to receive credit for my return?

We normally process refund within 3 business days once we received your return parcel and processed your return after full examination to the payment method you chosen. If you have used debit/credit card, the refunds are issued immediately, however, please allow 3-5 additional business days to show the refund in your account. We will also send you a confirmation email once your return has been processed.

When can I expect to receive my order?

All orders placed is shipped the same day unless the product is out of stock where we will contact you for latest date of order delivery. Most orders in stock are shipped 3-7 business days from order date in case of standard delivery and 3 -5 business days in case of express delivery.

Do you ship to an APO or FPO address?

Currently we are not able to ship or deliver parcels to P.O. boxes or FPO addresses.

How do I ship an item to someone else?

During check out time, you will have the ability to select either ship to the billing address or ship to a different address other than billing address. Simply click on “Ship To” box to enter shipping address.

What payment options are available?

We accept all major credit cards including MasterCard, American Express, Visa, Discover and Dinners Club and all debit cards with Visa or Master Card logo.

We also accept payment thru PayPal. You will need to create an account with PayPal in order to pay by PayPal.

What are organic spices?

The health community seems to be awash with information about where to find and buy organic foods, however what’s often left out is the importance of organic herbs and spices.

All organic spices we provide at Spicy Organic are certified with the USDA National Organic and are sourced globally from reliable sources. This means that they are not irradiated and are grown without the use of pesticides, genetically engineered ingredients (GMOs). Neither do they contain synthetic caking agents and chemical additives. 

Are the facilities where you process and package your spices free of soy, dairy, eggs, peanuts and tree nuts?

Yes, we can assure you that there is no soy, dairy, eggs, peanuts or tree nuts in any of the spices we sell. All of our products are processed, handled and packaged in our own facilities and we have rigorous checks in place to ensure that no ingredients that might contaminate our products are allowed inside.

Are your organics spices, herbs & seasoning blends gluten-free?

Yes, you can trust that all of the products sold by Spicy Organics are certified gluten free (to 10 ppm gluten or less). In addition, we are supervised by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization (GFCO) and rigorously test our products using GlutenTox Pro.

What is the percentage of curcumin in your organic turmeric?

The Organic Turmeric we sell at Spicy Organic, contains between 2 to 3% curcumin. This is a type of curcuminoid, or otherwise known as a natural phenol, which gives the bright yellow color of turmeric and is also responsible for its many health benefits (such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and also even anticancer effect).

Where do your herbs & spices come from?

All of the products we sell at Spicy Organic are sourced from organic farmers around the world. We work with many suppliers and our focus is always on ensuring only the best quality herbs and spices are delivered to us and ultimately reach our customers.  All farmers are vetted and there is complete traceability for all products including audit compliance and strict in-house testing processes and procedures.

Why are my spices different in aroma, color or taste than the previous time I ordered?

It’s natural that different herbs and spices will vary slightly in aroma, taste, color and even texture from batch to batch. We source from many different farmers globally however we do quality testing up to a very high standard to ensure that the differences are not affecting the quality of our products and are within the normal limitations.

The organic onion and garlic I bought is clumping up. Is it out of date?

Don’t worry, this is not a problem or a sign that your product has deteriorated. As our spices don’t contain any caking agents, clumping can occur naturally. Keep it in a cool dry place to avoid this as much as possible.

Do you add salt or sugar to your spices?

No, we don't add any salt, sugar or other sweeteners to our spices. All their flavor and aroma are entirely natural.

What’s the expiration date for your products?

Our spices and herbs usually have a shelf life of 2 years (or 24 months) from the date of packaging as we don’t use preservatives or irradiation to extend their shelf life. This is clearly printed on each package and if you follow the storage instructions and keep them in a cool, dry place the likelihood that they will last for the duration of this period is highly increased. They might not be as robust and lose some of their aroma and taste over time, but they will still be safe for consumption. They may become a bit less potent over time, but they are perfectly safe to consume.
