Why We're Different What Sets Spicy Organic Apart

Not all organic spice brands are equal. Here is exactly what we do differently — and why it matters for what goes into your food.

01 Genuinely USDA Certified — Not Just "Natural" Our USDA Organic certification (Cert #0847519) is issued by the Texas Department of Agriculture — a government-backed third-party audit, not a self-declared label. This means every product we sell has been verified to meet federal organic standards: no synthetic pesticides, no synthetic fertilizers, no GMOs. Ever.
02 Packed Fresh In-House in McKinney, Texas Most spice brands use third-party co-packers or coastal distribution centers, adding weeks of transit time before the product reaches your kitchen. Every Spicy Organic product is packed in-house at our McKinney, TX facility (104 Business Park Way, Suite 700). Less time between source and shelf. Fresher spice in every pouch.
03 Zero Fillers. Zero Additives. Full Transparency. 100% of what is in the pouch is what the label says. No anti-caking agents, no flow agents, no blending with cheaper non-organic substitutes, no irradiation. Pure spice only. We name the country of origin for every product so you always know exactly where your food came from.
04 Minority-Owned & Community-Certified Spicy Organic is certified as a Minority Business Enterprise by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) and holds Texas Small Business Enterprise (SBE) certification. Founded in 2020 by Sunil Kumar, we are a family-run operation that believes clean food and fair business go hand in hand.
05 Direct Farm Relationships & Sustainable Sourcing We source from small certified organic farms across India, Sri Lanka, Guatemala, and other origins — selecting for flavor profile, purity, and quality rather than lowest price. Our catalog covers organic spices and herbs with teas launching soon. Every sourcing decision supports sustainable agriculture and fair farm partnerships.
06 Free Shipping on Every Order · No Minimum Most organic spice brands require a $35–$50 minimum for free shipping. We offer free shipping on every single order regardless of order value. Available on SpicyOrganic.com, Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Etsy, TikTok Shop, Temu, and in-store at HEB locations across Texas.

Products & Ingredients
Yes. Every product across our 40+ SKU catalog is Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, and Non-Irradiated. Most products are also Kosher certified. There are zero fillers, zero anti-caking agents, and zero additives of any kind. 100% of what is in the pouch is what the label says.
We source from certified organic farms across multiple origins — turmeric and fenugreek from India, Ceylon cinnamon and cloves from Sri Lanka, cardamom from Guatemala, and others from their native growing regions. We disclose the country of origin for every product so you always know exactly where your food comes from.
Most retail products are available in 4 oz, 8 oz, and 16 oz resealable stand-up pouches. For bulk wholesale purchasing (5 lb to 44 lb), contact us at info@spicyorganic.com.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not store near the stove — heat and steam accelerate flavor loss. Reseal the pouch tightly after every use. Properly stored, most spices retain peak flavor for 2–3 years.
