Organic Onion Powder:
No need to go through peeling and grinding of onions to get a smooth paste and great taste. Simply use onion powder instead. It is sweet, handy and adds zing and body to your dishes. Many varieties of onions including white, red and yellow are available and onion powder is usually white, though it can also be pink if made from red onions. You can use both types interchangeably. Onion powder may also be found in ready to cook gravy and soup mixes.
How to use:
Add onion powder to rubs, marinades, soups, sauces, salad dressings. Sprinkle on pizza, add to eggs, and blend with chutneys. You can make a paste of onion powder with water and add to gravies and curries in the beginning of the cooking process. If you have over-salted or over-spiced your dish, using onion powder will reduce the salt and spice, even if used towards the end of the cooking.
- Sprinkle it over meat, soups, and stews, or use it as a base for rubs and marinades.
- Great for adding an extra aroma flavor to savory dishes, recipes, and broths.
- Low in fat, sodium, and calories. Contains dietary fiber, manganese, calcium, and vitamin C*
Use onion powder in any dish that calls for minced, grated or ground onions and save effort, tears and cooking time.
