Delicious oats baked with banana, apple, cardamom, cinnamon, and sliced almond. It tastes like a warm snicker doodle cookie.. This gluten-free and 100% vegan oven baked oats breakfast cake made by baking in the oven bakes evenly and it holds its shape better than oat cakes cooked.
Ingredients
2 cup rolled oats
5 ripe bananas medium size
½ apple
-
Organic cinnamon powder
-
Organic cardamom powder
1 Pinch salt
1 Pinch Sugar
Directions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Place the oats in the skillet and dry roast on a medium flame. Shake and toss it frequently for 5 minutes
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the toasted oats, sliced almond, smashed bananas, and diced apple. Whisk until blended. With the use of a spoon, flatten all of the components.
Add a pinch of organic cinnamon powder and a dash of organic cardamom powder to the top.
Once the oven has finished preheating, put the skillet in the oven for 15-25 minutes. Once done, serve hot and crispy oven baked oats cake.
Recipe Note
1. Don't over bake.
2. You can also substitute milk for the banana.
3. You can also use maple syrup or honey instead of sugar.
